The start towards #MaliKoura is a decisive turning point to approach the future with serenity.

This day, Friday September 25, 2020, the new President of the transition, Bah N’DAW and his Vice-President Colonel Assimi GOITA took the oath under the watchful, worried and threatening eye of ECOWAS.

Who is this gentleman to whom the CNSP entrusted the Mali boat?
He is surely less known to everyone and seems to arrive against all odds, that one would be tempted to say that he is “President by accident”. But should we despair for all that?

I only know of him what most of you already know. That is to say, he is a former minister, he has the guts to resign and he is older than Mali by 10 years. According to what is said, he would not drag pans behind him and would be a man of integrity and patriotism. All in all, it seems to arouse hope among many of our compatriots.

It is true that the way it was designated did not please some, in particular a fringe of the M5 RFP. This movement whose main objective was to make President IBK resign and without which the CNSP would not have existed!
The mode of appointment of the President of the transition has been the subject of criticism that is often justified. However, there are many Malians who support the choice of the man appointed President.

I think that at the moment where we are, our country has been very weakened by the numerous strikes, marches and other meetings and that it is time to leave this situation and look to the future under penalty of plunging Mali into a situation of chronic crises that would stifle its development and lead it into an infernal cycle that would force it to start from scratch each time!

We must therefore support and accompany the new President of the Transition because his failure will be fatal for our dear Mali. I remind you that the essence of a transition is to bring a country back to its normal mode of governance by focusing on what is both essential and urgent. In this I think that the “Bah N’DAW” card is, as the other would say, “SALEABLE”.
He has experience for having been President Moussa TRAORE’s aide-de-camp and minister under IBK. He would be equidistant from all the stakeholders and should not be accused of supporting this or that candidacy. This appointment also has the advantage of allowing politicians to better focus on the upcoming elections (presidential and parliamentary).

It is all the same imperative to appoint a civilian Prime Minister so as not to offend any more certain sensitivities of the country and give the impression to Mali’s partners of wanting to monopolize power.

In the meantime, fair winds to the two new strong men of Mali
